Kanit Busts on Feature Table

Level 10 : Blinds 700/1,400, 1,400 ante
Mustapha Kanit
Mustapha Kanit

On the feature table, Mustapha Kanit opened to 2,500 with {q-Spades}{j-Spades} from the cutoff before Igor Mataruga made it 8,500 with {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} in the small blind. Alexandre Andrault folded pocket nines in big blind, Kanit called.

Mataruga check-called a bet of 5,600 on the the {k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop. Mataruga checked again and Kanit moved in with his last 30,300 on the {8-Spades} turn.

Kanit would need to find a spade on the river to survive but the {10-Hearts} completed the board to send the Winimax Team Pro to the rail.

That was Kanit's second bullet of Day 1c and will need to enter Day 1d to have any hopes of making Day 2.

Francois Pirault
Francois Pirault

Winamax Team Pro Francois Pirault got his 12,000 short stack in the middle on the {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{4-Clubs} board and was called by Jean Da Cruz.

Pirualt had the {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for top pair but was drawing dead as Da Cruz had flopped a flush with his {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. The {a-Hearts} completed the board to send out Pirault.

Soussan asked to see his opponent's stack, which was confirmed as 76,400 in total. Soussan then jammed. Hoang checked his cards and then committed the last of his chips .

Thanh Hoang: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
William Soussan: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Soussan picked up a flush draw on the {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop. The {10-Hearts} turn paired the board before the {4-Diamonds} came on the river to give Hoang the pot.
