Khalfi Pairs Ace to Double Up
Level 13
: Blinds 1,200/2,500, 2,500 ante
Alvaro Romero raised and Romain Khalfi moved all in for around 30,000 chips. Romero made the call and two players flipped their cards, with Khalfi at risk.
Romain Khalfi: A♥K♣
Alvaro Romero: 10♦10♣
It was a classic poker race. Romero had a pocket pair of tens and Khalfi held the ace-king. The board ran out 4♦6♣A♠6♦5♥. Khalfi flopped a pair of aces and held to double up to over the starting stack.
