After several hands of bubble madness, media and players gathered around to witness what would be the final hand of Day 1c.

Remy Cougnenc had less than one big blind and so had all his chips in the middle in the small blind. Baz Lextaz opened the action with a raise from late position and all other players folded. After all other tables had finished the hands, players flipped their cards.

Remy Cougnenc: KQ
Baz Lextaz: A3

The board ran out 8639J. Neither player improved and so Lextaz held with his ace high. Cheers erupted around the room. Cougnenc busted on the bubble of Day 1c.

It was a long bubble. There were several all in and calls with short stacks finding their luck and doubling up to remain in the game.

In one such hand, Badr Oubja put the rest of his stack in the middle from the small blind, 19,500 chips. Mehdi Chaoui called in the big blind and players flipped their cards.

Badr Oubja: KK
Mehdi Chaoui: Q6

Oubja had woken up with pocket kings in the perfect moment for him. The rest of the room screamed out for sixes to come. The board ran out 92675. Oubja's kings held and he doubled up.

The next hand, over on another table, Action was on the flop on a board of 977. Fathi Guizani moved all in with a short stack and Amer Benmoumen called for a few chips more.

Guizani showed K9 for a pair of nines. Benmoumen showed 106 for a backdoor straight draw.

The turn came the 2 and the river was the 6. Benmoumen paired up with his sixes, but Guizani held to double up.
