The Q♠Q♦3♥ flop was checked to the 9♠ turn, where Cauchard check-raised to 3,600,000 in the face of a delayed continuation bet of 1,600,000 from Tremblay.

Tremblay took some time to think, and called.

With 11,200,000 in the middle, the J♠ river completed the board.

It gave Cauchard the flush, and Tremblay now picked up a pair to go with the board queens.

Cauchard jammed for 7,200,000, and Tremblay went into the tank.

After around two minutes, Tremblay flicked in a calling chip, and saw the bad news.

Adrien Burgniard raised to 1,700,000 from the cutoff, and Amadou Gassama defended the big blind.

The flop came A♥7♥3♦, and Gassama check-jammed to 9,900,000 in the face of a bet of 1,300,000 from Burgniard. Burgniard just covered Gassama and made the call.

Burgniard had top two pair, but he had a sweat against Gassama's flush draw.

The 9♠ turn was a brick, but the 9♥ hit on the river in cruel fashion to leave Burgniard with 950,000.

In the next hand, Burgniard moved all-in from the hijack and was called by Mirand Murseli on the button and Jeremy Cauchard in the big blind.

The J♦7♥4♦10♠4♠ runout was checked down by the active players.

Burgniard saw his 10♥2♥ for two pair, tens and fours, was no good versus Cauchard's 9♦4♥ for trip fours, while Murseli's A♠8♦ was last.
