Full House for Funfrock

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Jerome Funfrock
Jerome Funfrock

Jerome Funfrock opened to 1,100 under the gun, and received calls from Sonny Cocquempot on the button and Pierre Lallement in the small blind, along with the big blind.

Action was checked to Funfrock on the Q102 flop, who slid out a bet of 2,300. Both of Cocquempot and Lallement called.

The 2 hit on the turn, and action was checked to Funfrock once more. He double-barreled with a bet of 3,500, and both of his opponents called.

The 9 river completed the board, and Lallement checked for a third time. Funfrock sized-up with a bet of 12,200, which led to a quick fold from Cocquempot.

Lallement took a decent period of time to think, before he made the call. Funfrock tabled QQ for the turned full house, which was good versus Lallement's KJ for the rivered straight.

Mike d'Inca

Ghislain D'Harcourt opened to 800 from the button, and Mike D'Inca defended the big blind.

On the 876 flop, D'Inca check-called a bet of 1,100 from D'Harcourt.

The same pattern followed on the 2 turn, this time in respect of a bet of 3,000 from D'Harcourt.

The 4 river completed the board, and D'Inca checked once more. D'Harcourt fired out a bet of 5,000, and after some thought, D'Inca called.

D'Harcourt tabled QQ for the overpair queens, but D'Inca had got there on the river with 52 for the one-card eight-high straight.

Early Fireworks as Noel Busts Machabert

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Around 11,000 was in the middle on a completed board of 876Q5, in a hand between Alexis Machabert on the button and Rudy Noel in the small blind.

There was 22,000 in front of Machabert, while Noel had the all-in triangle in front of him, having put the entirety of his remaining 46,000 stack into the middle.

Machabert went into the tank, and remained deep in thought for around three to four minutes.

He ultimately made the call, only to see that his 99 for the rivered one-card nine-high straight was beaten by Noel's 109 for the flopped ten-high straight, in a brutal early cooler.
