Guez Spikes River to Bust Filali

Level 32 : Blinds 30,000/70,000, 70,000 ante
Jonathan Guez
Jonathan Guez

Jonathan Guez and Kamil Filali tangled earlier, Guez winning a huge blind on blind confrontation, and although he seems to have taken a few hits since then, Guez has finished off Filali.

Filali was all-in for 1,050,000 and at risk.

Kamil Filali: JJ All in
Jonathan Guez: A6

Filali looked in good shape, and the Q106 flop was clear, as was the 10 turn.

However Guez hit the A on the river to send Filali to the rail, and the pair bumped fists as Filali wished the table good luck on his way to the exit.

Quarrit Cracks Caumartin's Aces

Level 32 : Blinds 30,000/70,000, 70,000 ante

Stephane Caumartin opened to 140,000 from the button, and Romain Quarrit defended the big blind.

Quarrit checked the Q85 flop to Caumartin, who fired out a bet of 310,000.

Quarrit responded with a check-jam, and Caumartin snap-called for his 1,500,000 total stack.

Stephane Caumartin : AA All in
Romain Quarrit: Q8

Caumartin had rockets, but they had been usurped by Quarrit's top two pair, and Caumartin could not find an escape on the Q turn or J river, Quarrit improving to a full house.

Majani Falls to Prencipe

Level 31 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Action folded to Bernard Majani in the small blind, who had a glance at his cards, before announcing he was all-in for around 600,000.

Hermes Prencipe took a quick peek at his cards in the big blind, and snap-called.

Bernard Majani: J9 All in
Hermes Prencipe: AK

Majani was live, and hit the front after the QJ8 flop gave him second pair and a gutshot.

However the A hit on the turn, met with a nod of approval from Prencipe, and the 2 river was as brickish as it could get.

Peyre Jams Into the Nuts of Chabert

Level 30 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Florian Chabert
Florian Chabert

A big pot of 1,250,000 had developed by the river, on a board of Q7364, in a hand between Florian Chabert in early position and Tristan Peyre in the small blind.

After around two minutes of thought, Peyre jammed for 475,000, and Chabert's calling chips almost beat Peyre's movement of his stack into the middle.

"Oh no", exclaimed Peyre, who actually tipped over his chair as he jumped out of it, tabling KJ for king-high.

Chabert had A6 for the rivered nut flush, and Peyre beat a swift exit for the payout queue.

Anton Yakushko: 73 All in
Gonzalo Menica Cotan: KQ

Yakushko was live but was drawing dead by the turn on the AK922 runout.
