Quarrit checked the Q♠8♦5♠ flop to Caumartin, who fired out a bet of 310,000.

Quarrit responded with a check-jam, and Caumartin snap-called for his 1,500,000 total stack.

Cards were on their backs and two big stacks were in the middle, with a six-bet pot suggesting two monsters were in play, with Amadou Gassama all-in for 3,215,000 and at risk against Mathieu Alciato.

In a brutal cooler, Gassama had woken up with aces against Alciato's Big Slick, and although the king was in the window on the K♠6♦2♥ flop, there was no futher help for Alicato on the 3♦ turn or 8♦ river.

Unsurprisingly Gassama indulged in a minor celebration when the river hit, a huge pot to him.

Florian Chabert opened to 100,000 from early position, and received calls from Mathieu Alciato and Amadou Gassama in the blinds.

The A♠6♣3♦ flop was checked to Chabert, who continued with a bet of 115,000. Alicatio called, before Gassama check-raised to 250,000. Chabert called but Alciato folded.

The 5♠ hit on the turn, and Gassama fired out a bet of 325,000. Chabert again called.

The 7♥ river completed the board, and Gassama went for a down-sized bet of 400,000, leaving himself only around 220,000 behind.

Chabert thought about it for quite a while, but eventually called, and promptly mucked when Gassama tabled 6♠6♦ for a set of sixes.

A big pot of 1,250,000 had developed by the river, on a board of Q♦7♠3♦6♣4♦, in a hand between Florian Chabert in early position and Tristan Peyre in the small blind.

After around two minutes of thought, Peyre jammed for 475,000, and Chabert's calling chips almost beat Peyre's movement of his stack into the middle.

"Oh no", exclaimed Peyre, who actually tipped over his chair as he jumped out of it, tabling K♦J♠ for king-high.

Chabert had A♦6♦ for the rivered nut flush, and Peyre beat a swift exit for the payout queue.

A monster pot of 1,550,000 had developed by the turn on Q♥7♦4♥10♣, in a battle of the blinds between Kamil Filali and Winamax employee Jonathan Guez.

Filali check-called a bet of 325,000 from Guez, which led to the J♣ river.

Filali took a good minute to ponder his next move, before he jammed with the covering stack.

Guez had around 875,000, and snap-called. Filali grimaced and said "Sh*t", and put his hands behind his head, before he turned over A♥10♦ for third pair tens.

Guez tabled A♠A♦ and raked in a pot that propels him to the top of the counts.
