Bitan Calls Bluff With Queens
Level 4
: 200/500, 500 ante
Following an open-limp from early position, two players limped behind before Franck Bitan raised to 2,500 from the button. Two players called, including Florian Jouvenet.
The flop came 8♦K♦10♣ and action checked to Bitan, who continued for 3,000. Only Jouvenet called. On the 3♠ turn, Jouvenet checked and Bitan bet 6,000, which Jouvenet called.
The river was the 7♥ and Jouvenet led out for 12,100. Bitan took his time to weigh up the decision before making the call. Jouvenet showed A♦5♦ for a missed flush draw, while Bitan had Q♠Q♣ for a pair of queens to win the pot.
