The 2026 CNP Winamax Season Kicks Off in Seville

CNP Winamax Sevilla
CNP Winamax Sevilla

Seville has a magic of its own. As of this Wednesday, it also hosts the second edition of the CNP Winamax festival, an event that shattered records across the board last year. The Casino Admiral Sevilla is all set to welcome players for Day 1a of the €550 Main Event, a tournament that drew no fewer than 919 entries in 2025 and is expected to, at the very least, match those impressive numbers this time around.

In last year's edition, it was Portugal’s Andre Cuco who captured the silver clover trophy. Not only that, he also walked away with a hefty €58,100 payday, a figure few €550 buy-in events can boast, at least on Spanish soil.

The CNP Winamax gets underway today with the first of five scheduled starting flights, Day 1a, which kicks off at 4 p.m. local time. This year, organizers have introduced a Day 1c Low Cost flight, featuring a reduced €275 buy-in, with the trade-off being shorter levels, 20 minutes instead of the standard 45, and a starting stack of 25,000 chips instead of the usual 50,000. Day 1e, which will also run in turbo format, will retain the regular buy-in. The remaining starting flights remain unchanged.

Day 1aFebruary 114 p.m.
Day 1bFebruary 124 p.m.
Day 1c (Low Cost)February 128 p.m.
Day 1dFebruary 134 p.m.
Day 1eFebruary 1411 a.m.
Day 2February 145 p.m.
Day 3February 1512 p.m.

Players will begin with a starting stack of 50,000 chips, worth 500 big blinds, a depth that allows plenty of room to maneuver during the early stages of play. That is one of the key attractions of the CNP, a standout structure for what is, after all, a modest buy-in event.

Blind levels will increase every 45 minutes on Days 1a, 1b, and 1d, with the exception of the previously mentioned Days 1c and 1e, where levels will move up every 20 minutes. All starting flights will play down to the final minutes of Level 11, at which point the clock will be stopped and the tournament director will announce the last two or three hands of the night.

It is worth noting that the tournament runs in a Stack Choice format, meaning players may register for as many Day 1 flights as they wish and then carry their largest stack forward into Day 2. Registration will remain open through the end of Level 13, the second level scheduled to be played on Day 2.

The live stream of the tournament will begin at around 8 p.m. on Day 2 and can be followed on Winamax’s official channels on YouTube and Twitch.
