Three starting flights have come and gone at the 2019 WinStar Labor Day River Poker Series $1,500 Main Event, and from 1,242 entrants, only 151 players return today for Day 2 action, all of whom will be in the money from the start of the day's play.

Day 1a chip leader Daniel Lu assumes the overall chip lead at the start of the day, with his 658,000 chips leading the way. Lu already has one healthy cash in the series so far, finishing in seventh in Event #1: $500 No Limit Hold'em for $12,965, and will be looking to replicate his success with over 100 big blinds to begin the day. He's followed by Day 1b chip leader Quan Donot Nguyen (619,000), Spencer Champlin (604,500), James Mordue (566,000), and Day 1c chip leader Troy Stidd in the top five.

The defending champ of this event, Will Pengelly, returns with a healthy stack of 284,000, and is joined by Brian Lee (422,000), Will Berry (247,000), WinStar World Ambassador Maria Ho (192,000), Kelly Minkin (85,000), and Ray Henson (79,000) as some of the notables hoping to make their way through to Day 3 and be one step closer to taking down the Main Event title.

Action for Day 2 will resume at Level 16 (3,000/6,000/6,000) with blinds increasing to 60-minutes in length for the duration of the tournament. There will be a 15-minute break every two levels, and a 45-minute dinner break after six levels of play. Play will conclude when the final table is reached or ten full levels have been played, whichever comes first.

A $1,763,640 prize pool is up fro grabs, easily besting the $1,500,000 Guarantee on the Main Event. All players are guaranteed $2,645, but all eyes will be on the top prize of $300,005. A full list of payouts can be found in the "Payouts" tab.

Be sure to follow along with us at PokerNews as we make our way down towards the final table here at the WinStar World Casino and Resort!
