Green Check-Raises the Flop

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

Royce Green opened to 500 from under the gun and action folded around to the hijack, who called. The cutoff three-bet to 2,200 and everybody yet to act in the hand folded, putting action back on Green. He made the call and the hijack folded, taking postflop action heads up.

The flop came {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Green checked. The cutoff made a continuation-bet of 2,700 and Green moved around some chips to put them into one stack, throwing out a check-raise of 5,700 in the process.

His opponent folded and the dealer sent the pot his way.

The {2-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop was checked over to Wang, who bet 2,500. All three of his opponents quickly folded, and Wang chipped back up over starting stack.

Jewell Gets Three Streets With Ladies

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

James Jewell had a bet of 2,200 in front of him from middle position on a flop of {8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and action was on his opponent, who was on the button. The player on the button called the flop bet, bringing the turn {10-Hearts}. Jewell threw out another bet of 3,000 and his opponent made the call.

The river fell {10-Hearts} and Jewell fired a third barrel for 4,000. His opponent called once more.

Jewell tabled {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and his opponent mucked, resulting in the pot being sent his way.

Rice Chips Up With Queens

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

Texas poker pro Shawn Rice raised to 300 from under the gun, and was called by a player in middle position, as well as the small blind.

Action checked through the {7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop, and the small blind checked again on the {5-Diamonds} turn. Rice bet 500, and only the small blind called.

The {9-Hearts} fell on the river, and the small blind led out for 1,200. Rice quickly tossed a chip in to call, and the small blind said, "I just got an ace," flipping over {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. Rice turned over his {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} for queens-up and the winner.

Blowers Flops the Nuts

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

On a {j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop, the small blind checked, as did James Blowers in the big blind, and the under-the-gun player bet 700 into a pot of 1,000. Both the small blind and Blowers called.

All three players checked through the {k-Diamonds} turn, and the small blind led out for 600 on the {5-Hearts} river. Blowers called, and the under-the-gun player folded.

"Two pair," the small blind said, turning over {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Blowers tabled {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a flopped nut straight, however, and he took down the pot.

Minkin Backs Into Broadway

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

There was around 1,600 in the pot and the small blind had a bet of 1,000 out in front of him on a board of {8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{j-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. Action was on Kelly Minkin, who was in middle position. She thought for a bit and threw out a raise. The small blind immediately called.

Minkin tabled {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for Broadway, having found herself with the nuts on the river. Her opponent quickly mucked.

Minkin cut out her raise to show it was 4,500 and her opponent paid it off, saying he had a set of fives.
