There was around 65,000 in the pot on a board of and Simon Webster checked from middle position to Spencer Champlin, who was in the cutoff. Champlin bet 25,000 to put action back on Webster and he thought about it for a bit before putting in chips to call.
Champlin tabled for a queen-high straight and Champlin mucked, pushing over the stack of T1,000 chips he had called with before the dealer scooped it up with the rest of the pot and sent it over to Champlin.

For the past week, WinStar has been playing host to a series of side event as a part of the 2019 Labor Day River Series. While PokerNews is only offering live updates from the Main Event, we still wanted to give some love to the lucky WinStar winners.
One such event was Event #7: $500 Monster Stack, a tournament that drew 403 entrants and paid out the top 41 players.
Among those to get paid but fall short of the final table were Tiep Bui (10th - $2,720), Michael Giant (14th - $2,267), Archie Raimer (21st - $1,541), Matt Bond (23rd - $1,541), Charles Murray (30th - $1,360), Rex Clinkscales (32nd - $1,179), Chan Pelton (35th - $1,179), and Bryant Terry (41st - $907).
The final table ended with a multi-way deal that saw Chad Runeberg crowned champion for a $27,451 payday.

A player raised to 12,000 from under the gun and action folded around to Brandon Gilliam, who three-bet to 30,000. The original raiser announced he was all in for what was around 85,000 and Gilliam quickly called.

Both players struck the flop , leaving Gilliam needing to fade the case queen in order to secure the knockout. The turn and river fell and he won the pot, sending his opponent home in unavoidable fashion and bringing him to above 300,000 along the way.

The floor came over and ruled that Webster had had enough time to decide and put a 30-second clock on him. As time was running out, Webster put out chips to call.
Hudson tabled for top pair, top kicker and Webster sent his cards to the muck. Hudson confirmed with the dealer that all hands must be tabled in an all-in situation in tournament play, and he both confirmed and complied, tabling Webster's second-best hand of .
