Champlin Gets Value from Webster

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

There was around 65,000 in the pot on a board of {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and Simon Webster checked from middle position to Spencer Champlin, who was in the cutoff. Champlin bet 25,000 to put action back on Webster and he thought about it for a bit before putting in chips to call.

Champlin tabled {j-Spades}{10-Spades} for a queen-high straight and Champlin mucked, pushing over the stack of T1,000 chips he had called with before the dealer scooped it up with the rest of the pot and sent it over to Champlin.

A player went all in from early position for 80,500 and Brian Carrubba called from his direct left. All remaining payers folded.

Brian Carrubba: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
All-In Player: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The flop came {4-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades} to give Carrubba a full house, leaving his opponent needing running aces or running kings to stay alive. However, Carrubba was the one to improve as the turn came {j-Spades} to give him quads leaving his opponent drawing dead for the river {5-Spades} as he got up and wished the rest of the table good luck.

Hudson Doubles With Top-Top

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Kami Hudson
Kami Hudson

There was over 100,000 in the pot on a board of {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Kami Hudson was all in from middle position. Her opponent, Simon Webster, was on the button and deep in the tank. After some time, another player at the table called a clock on him.

The floor came over and ruled that Webster had had enough time to decide and put a 30-second clock on him. As time was running out, Webster put out chips to call.

Hudson tabled {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for top pair, top kicker and Webster sent his cards to the muck. Hudson confirmed with the dealer that all hands must be tabled in an all-in situation in tournament play, and he both confirmed and complied, tabling Webster's second-best hand of {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}.
