On a flop, Khiem Ngo had his last 35,500 in from the big blind, David Gulikers had called from under the gun, and was now faced with a shove from the small blind for 119,500 total. Gulikers confirmed the amount, then tanked for a minute before making the call for the majority of his remaining stack.

The small blind was ahead with top two, while Ngo had top pair and a backdoor flush draw, while Gulikers was open-ended. The small blind survived the turn, but Ngo picked up a flush draw.
"God damn!" said the big blind after the came on the river, completing both Ngo's flush and Gulikers' straight. The big blind hit the rail with a bad beat story, while Ngo scooped in the main pot and Gulikers took the hefty side pot.

Daniel Lu was in the cutoff and opened to 10,000. Brian Carrubba defended his big blind and proceeded to check dark before the flop came . Lu made a continuation-bet of 18,000 and Carrubba called.
The turn came and Carrubba checked again. Lu made another bet of 70,000, putting Carrubba to a decision for a significant chunk of the 180,000 he still had in front of him. He thought for close to two minutes, counting out his orange T5,000 chips in the process.
Eventually, he folded and Lu took down the pot, adding to his already chip-leading stack along the way.

With 45,000 already in the pot, Simon Webster bet 16,000 on a flop from the hijack, and Spencer Champlin made the call on the button.
Both players checked the turn, and the fell on the river. Webster bet 33,000, and Champlin spent a few minutes in the tank before reluctantly folding.

The flop came to give Keeline more of a sweat as his opponent picked up four outs to Broadway in addition to his two over cards. However, the turn and river came low and he held to secure the elimination, bringing his stack just shy of six figures in the process.

Maria Ho raised to 6,500 from under the gun, and was called by a player in middle position, as well as the cutoff. Las Sengphet three-bet to 28,000 on the button, and once the blinds folded, Ho went into the tank.
"How much are you playing?" Ho asked Sengphet, who responded, "About a hundred."
Ho tanked a bit longer before folding, and the remaining two players in the hand followed suit, shipping the pot to Sengphet.
