Minkin Leaves Rodriguez With Dust

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Walter Rodriguez jammed for 165,000 from under the gun, and Kelly Minkin called off her last 147,000 next to act.

Kelly Minkin: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Walter Rodriguez: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Minkin's queens held up after an {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Spades} board gave both players a flush, but Minkin's higher flush left Rodriguez with under two big blinds.

Bunch Continues Torrid Stretch, Dispatches Floyd

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Toby Floyd had his last 400,000 in preflop from the cutoff after a preflop raising war with Eric Bunch, and Bunch had him at risk.

Toby Floyd: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Eric Bunch: {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}

Floyd would fail to improve on the {2-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop, and the {4-Clubs} turn gave Bunch an unbeatable flush, leaving Floyd dead to the {9-Clubs} river.

Gilbralter Gets One Through

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Toby Floyd opened to 30,000 from under the gun and was called by Brian Lee, who was on his direct left. Action folded around to Eric Bunch, who called out of the small blind. Jeff Gilbralter defended his big blind and the four players saw a flop of {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}.

Both Bunch and Gilbralter checked to put action on Floyd, who made a continuation-bet of 45,000. Lee cut out a call before Floyd coud finish making his bet. Bunch then called as well, sending Gilbralter into the tank.

After about a minute, Gilbralter check-raised to 115,000. Floyd, Lee, and Bunch all folded without a lot of hesitation and the pot was sent Gilbralter's way.

Hardin Gets Set Up by Merritt

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Ryan Hardin raised to 25,000 from middle position, and was called by Nelson Beck in the small blind. Rickie Merritt three-bet to 70,000 from the small blind, and both Hardin and Beck called.

Merritt checked the {k-Spades}{7-Hearts}{a-Hearts} flop over to Hardin, who jammed for 157,000. Beck folded and Merritt snap-called.

Ryan Hardin: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Rickie Merritt: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}

Hardin shook his head at the sight of Merritt's set, and was sent home after the {8-Diamonds} turn and {9-Spades} river fell.
