Bullets For TJ

With the flop reading {2-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, a player led out for 750 only to have TJ Cloutier snap raise to 1,500. Cloutier's opponent called and the {5-Diamonds} fell on fourth street.

It was checked to Cloutier this time and he continued out with 2,500. Cloutier's opponent folded {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} face up and Cloutier showed the table that he held {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}. Cloutier was under starting stack to start the hand so with his profits from this hand he's currently sitting at about 16,000.

Trips for Raymer

The player under the gun opened to 400 and the only caller was Greg Raymer from UTG+2.

They saw a {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} flop which they both opted to check, landing the {9-Diamonds} on the turn. Raymer's opponent bet 200, Raymer bumped it to 800, and his opponent called to see the {4-Clubs} river. A check from the UTG player led to a bet of 1,200 from Raymer.

After a few moments his opponent called, but mucked when Raymer tabled {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for trip nines.

Burbick's Raise Takes It

Picking up the action on a {K-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop, an opponent bet 1,000 into Corey Burbick who called to see the {6-Spades} turn. A bet of 1,400 came this time from Burbick's opponent and after a few moments, Burbick called to see the {10-Spades} river.

A third bet came from his opponent in the form of 1,800. Burbick spent about 30 seconds in the tank before raising to 5,600, taking it down after his opponent folded.

Nguyen Doubles Up

After Andrew Nguyen opened the action and found a three-bet from an opponent, action folded back to him. Nguyen four-bet to 2,325 only to have his opponent come over the top once again with a five-bet to 4,550.

Action was back on Nguyen and he pulled his bet back and came out with even more chips. Nguyen six-bet to 8,050 and after about a minute his opponent announced that he was all in. Nguyen snapped for 15,450 total and the hands were tabled:

Nguyen: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}
Opponent: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The board fell {K-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Nguyen's aces were able to hold, scoring him a double up to about 31,000.

Pushing Back Against Selbst

Action folded to Vanessa Selbst on the button and she raised to 400. The small blind called and the big blind decided to throw out a three-bet to 1,225. Selbst called with little hesitation and the small blind tagged along as well.

The dealer produced a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{J-Hearts} and there were two checked to Selbst. Selbst reached for chips and bet 1,400. The small blind called and the big blind decided to let the two tango alone.

Fourth street was the {2-Hearts} and the small blind checked for a second time. Selbst put 1,900 in the middle and the small blind immediately raised to 6,100. Selbst folded just as quickly and watched as the chips were pushed to her opponent. She's currently sporting a stack of about 19,000 after that loss.
