Welcome to PokerNews' coverage of Day 1c of the 2012 WinStar River Poker Series Main Event. Yesterdays's Day 1b drew 418 players to go along with Thurday's 401 on Day 1a. With play lasting until 10% of each field remains, 83 players have made Day 2 (and the money so far). Day 1c is expected to be the largest of the bunch with more than 500 people expected.
Who can we expect to see here today? Among the players that have bought in twice but have come up empty thus far include Greg Raymer, Vanessa Selbst, Dwyte Pilgrim, Chris Tryba, Kurt Jewell, Aaron Massey, Ray Henson, and David "ODB" Baker. They'll most likely be giving it a third go today in this re-entry affair and they'll be joined by Chris Moneymaker, Layne Flack, David Diaz, Nick Jivkov, and Brett Richey (players who have only bought in once).
Play is scheduled to kick off at noon local time, about ten minutes from now, and will resume until only 10% of the field remains, each of whom will make the money and be back in action tomorrow for Day 2.

Action folded to Rex Clinkscales who limped from the hijack, as did Chris Tryba from the button. The small blind joined the party, the big blind checked, and the four players saw a 
flop.
A check from the player in the small blind led to a bet of 350 from the player in the big blind. Only Clinkscales called to see the 
turn which both players quickly checked. The landed on the river and the player in the big blind bet 650. Clinkscales popped it to 2,100, his opponent called, and Clinkscales tabled 
for a straight.
His opponent mucked, giving the pot to Clinkscales.
