On the flop of a {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} board, Sam Chartier bet 12,000 and called a check-raise from Douglas Watson of 40,000.

The {j-Diamonds} fell on the turn and Watson bet 50,000. Chartier called, bringing the {9-Hearts} on the river. Watson checked and Chartier moved all-in. Watson thought briefly before making the call, putting himself at risk.

Chartier tabled {q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, making a straight on the river and Watson mucked, exiting in 18th place.

Chartier and Malm Battle Pre-Flop

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Action folded to Sam Chartier in the hijack and he raised it to 18,000. Gregory Hartwick called on the button and the action was now on Michael Malm in the small blind. He wasted no time and three-bet to 85,000. Chartier went into the tank and after a couple of minutes he four-bet to 162,000. Hartwick folded and action was back on Malm.

Malm went into the tank, took a sip of water and thought it out. After a few minutes he opted to fold. "Nice hand. I think I folded the best hand." Chartier smiled and replied, "Maybe. Maybe not."

Lucas Drolet
Lucas Drolet

Jake Labonte raised to 12,000 from the hijack and got calls from Tam Ho on the button and Lucas Drolet in the big blind.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}, Drolet checked and Labonte bet 10,000. Ho folded and Drolet called.
