Turbo Time! The Final Starting Flight of the Canadian Poker Championships is Today

The final starting flight of the Canadian Poker Champions at Playground Poker begins at noon local time and it's a turbo format so players can hop into Day 2 at 5:00 p.m. this evening!

This event guarantees $2 million dollars and there have been 714 entries between the Phase One tournaments, direct entries and re-entries across the live and online events.

Direct buy-ins will start with 1,000,000 chips and players will compete for a total of nine levels at 20-minutes a piece. There will be one, 10-minute break after Level 5. Around 3:10 p.m. players will bag up and prepare to come back for 5:00 p.m. for Day 2. Registration will remain open until the end of Level 12, and players are allowed a single re-entry should they bust before then.
