Day 1b Completed

Keyes had the lead coming back after the final break of the night and moments into play, Keyes found a sick cooler to crush Alex Difelice with pocket kings over pocket queens, claiming the largest pot of the event thus far.
Keyes closest competitor on the night was Sebastien Labbe, who used two double-knockouts to cap off the day with 5,777,000. Other top stacks were Ari Engel (5,200,000), Stephane Bedard (4,752,000), George Gaffiero (4,558,000), and Ettehadi Seyedrohollah (4,408,000).
Day 1b started with 82 Phase 1 qualifiers and the field grew with 92 additional entries and 20 re-entries to close at 194 total entries. When the clock ran out, there were 106 survivors.

Daren Keyes already had the chip lead. After a pot with Alex Difelice, that lead is now even greater.
Keyes opened to 50,000 from late position and got flatted by the player in the cutoff. Alex Difelice made a huge three-bet from the button, bumping it up to 235,000.
Keyes slid out a four-bet of 635,000 forcing the player in the cutoff to quickly fold and Difelice five-bet jammed all-in. Keyes snap-called, having Difelice covered.

According to his table, Jean Francois Cadorette hadn't found many spots to put his chips to work. Cadorette's stack hadn't budged much from his initial starting count but after a player in early position moved all-in for about 230,000, Cadorette three-bet shoved and cleared the rest of the table.
