Yanick Labattaglia Eliminated by Michael Tremblay

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Michael Tremblay was all in from early position for 200,000 and Yanick Labattaglia called for his last 120,000 chips from the cutoff.

Tremblay tabled {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}, up against Labattaglia's {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. "Oh he's going to get an ace" laughed Tremblay as the two players shook hands and wished each other luck.

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Tremblay remained in the lead with a pair of red kings. The turn was the {k-Clubs} and Labattaglia was left drawing dead to the {7-Spades} on the river.

Abillama Rivers Quads to Double Up

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Chady Abillama opened to 75,000 and was called by five of his tablemates including Alexandre Ruest. The flop was {q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Abillama moved all-in first to act.

Ruest re-raised all-in, covering Abillama and the rest of the table folded.

Abillama: {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Ruest: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Abillama's set of fives was good so far but Ruest made his flush with the {7-Diamonds} on the turn. Abillama needed the board to pair in order to take the pot and the river brought the best pair he could ask for, the {5-Diamonds}, giving him quad fives and more importantly, a huge double up.

Abillama's all-in was cut down, totalling 821,000 and Ruest was forced to slide the majority of his stack across the table.

Samuel Picard Eliminated by Franco A

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Samuel Picard was on the button and all-in for his remaining 431,000. Franco A was in the hijack and called.

Picard was at risk with {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}, well behind Franco's {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Franco extended his lead with a pair of kings. Picard started to walk away from the table, but picked up a straight draw when the {10-Clubs} hit the turn. The river was the {3-Hearts} and Picard was sent to the rail.

Franco started the day with 350,000 chips and has vaulted up to 2,315,000 as the tournament gets deeper.

Anthony Ha Scoops a Big One on the River

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

A big pot was brewing over on Table 52, and we got to the action on the river.

Anthony Ha was in the big blind and led out for 280,000. With about 700,000 in the middle already, on a board reading {J-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}, action was now on Steven Mavrigiannakis in the hijack.

After several minutes, Mavrigiannakis slid forward the exact amount of chips to call. Ha tabed {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} for a pair of queens with an ace kicker and Mavrigiannakis shook his head and said, "That's so sick" as he flashed {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a pair of fours with an ace kicker. "When the flop came down like that I knew I was good" he said as he flung his cards into the muck.

Ha raked in the massive pot and the players got ready to disperse as the table broke at the end of that hand.

Carslaw Binks One-Outter to Scoop Massive Four-Way All-in

Level 20 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante
Tyler Carslaw
Tyler Carslaw

Poker can produce some awesome moments.

One of them was just created.

The beneficiary, Tyler Carslaw.

Carslaw three-bet an open to 55,000 from early position, sparking a pre-flop explosion of betting. Carslaw raised to 145,000 only to find three players move all-in in front of him. Carslaw snap-called putting himself at risk with a monster pot sitting in the middle.

Carslaw: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Late Position: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Early Position: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Mid-Position: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The rarity of getting these hands is one thing, to see them all tabled in the same hand is astonishing.

Carslaw hit the one and only remaining king in the deck on the flop of the {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} board and scooped a huge pot, busting two of his opponents and leaving the third with nothing but crumbs.

Dat Doan Sends Jeffrey Bacani to the Rail

Level 20 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Action folded around to Jeffrey Bacani in the cutoff and he raised it up to 84,000. Dat Doan was in the big blind and looked down at his cards several times before deciding to move all in. Bacani had around 300,000 total and eventually decided to call.

Doan was first to show, revealing {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. "I have live cards" said Bacani as he tabled {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and Bacani was unable to catch up, sending the pot to Doan.
