The remaining 48 players are on a 15-minute break. When they return they will almost certainly be playing down to the end of day. Just 42 seats are available for Day 2, six more players to bust before they bag and tag.
Gerard Cooke was all-in for just an ante several hands ago. He laddered up 4 eliminations and doubled, tripled, and quadrupled up to stave off elimination.
Finally, on the direct Day 2 bubble, his tournament life ran out.
Cooke was all-in preflop for just over a big blind and was put at risk by Trevor Delaney.

A crazy run out of cards began. First, the flop came , giving Cooke two pair. The turn was the though which gave control back to Delaney. Just to give a little more drama on the river, the dropped, giving both players a full house, but Delaney's was best and Cooke was the last elimination of Day 1k.
