Time to Quantify the Quantum; Day 1h Upon Us.

The World Cup of Cards is winding down at the Playground Poker Club in Kahnawake, Quebec. Day 1h of Event #1: NL Hold'em Quantum kicks off at 7 p.m. local time. This is the eighth of ten starting flights, with buyins as low as CAD $170 up to CAD $2,200, which is a direct buy-in to Day 2.

This evening's buy-in is $350 with the top 13% of the field qualifying for Day 2. Players will start with 20,000 chips and blinds will increase every 20 minutes until the 10th level, switching to 30 minutes after.

There have been 670 total entries received through the first two starting flights. Just 68 players have booked their seat into Day 2.

Every player who makes Day 2 from any of the Quantum starting flights will receive CAD $400. Players can finish multiple starting flights and take their biggest stack forward. Each time a player makes Day 2 they will earn $400 CAD and $1,500 for each forfeited stack.
