Jonathan Bussieres bagged the chip lead for Day 1c of the Quantum No Limit Hold em Tournament. This was the third starting flight of ten. The Quantum is the first event of the World Cup of Cards, a 28-event tournament series held at Playground Poker Club.

So far 38 players are through to Day 2 of this $200,000 Guaranteed Tournament. Players can still play remaining flights and try to make Day 2 again. If they make Day 2 again, not only will they take home the min cash, which would be at least CAD $400, depending on the flight, but an extra CAD $1,500 for each stack they forfeit. The players would take their largest stack forward.

The next Quantum flight is Tuesday and the buy in is CAD $250. The final ten percent of the field will advance to Day 2. Day 2 will be September 13.

This ends another day at the World Cup of Cards, tomorrow at noon there is a CAD $100 No Limit Hold em tournament, Day 3 of the WPT National Montreal (with six players returning to compete for CAD $80,000), and a CAD $220 Pot-Limit Omaha Eight or Better tournament.
