Lim Finds a Lucky Double

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

David Lim was all in for 23,200 from the cutoff seat, and he was called by Alexander Antonios from the big blind. Antonios had the {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, and that had Lim's {J-Spades}{9-Spades} in bad shape.

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{J-Hearts} to give Lim a lucky double on the river. Antonios was clipped back a little bit, but still has 310,000 in chips.

Barer Gets Away from It

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Brendon Rubie checked on the {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop, and Ami Barer bet 8,900. Michael Tran called next, and then Rubie folded. The dealer then placed out the {9-Diamonds} turn, and Barer bet 10,100. Tran called, and the river was the {J-Spades}. Barer bet 14,900, and Tran put in a raise to 54,000. Barer folded the {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}, and Tran showed a {Q-Hearts}{9-Spades} for a full house.

Hellmuth Picks Off Lim for One

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

From the cutoff seat, Phil Hellmuth raised to 6,000. David Lim called from the big blind, and the flop came down {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Lim checked, and Hellmuth bet 6,000. Lim called.

The {3-Diamonds} appeared on the turn, and both players checked to see the {8-Spades} land on the river. Lim led for 9,500, and Hellmuth snap-called.

"Ace high," announced Lim, flashing the {A-Diamonds} from his hand. Before he could show his entire hand, though, Hellmuth tabled the {A-Hearts}{10-Spades} for top pair and Lim mucked.

Check-Raise from Antonios

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Alexander Antonios, Steven Zhou, Kris Nestorovic, and Phil Hellmuth saw the {J-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs} flopped and action checked around to see the {A-Hearts} land on the turn. Action checked to Nestorovic, he bet 7,400, Hellmuth folded, and then Antonios check-raised to 20,000. After Zhou folded, Nestorovic also gave it up, and Antonios won the pot.

Matt Rolfe Eliminated in 12th Place (AU$7,747)

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

From under the gun, Matt Rolfe raised all in for a little over 20,000. Alexander Antonios called from the cutoff seat with the {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}, and everyone else folded. Rolfe had the {A-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for one over card.

"Deuce-three-four," pleaded Rolfe to the dealer.

The flop was far from that, though, as the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades} fell. The turn was the {J-Hearts}, and then the river finished off the board with the {A-Diamonds}. Rolfe fell short of the needed double up and was eliminated in 12th place for AU$7,747.
