Politano Flops a Straight

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

World Series of Poker November Niner Bruno Politano bet 4,200 on the {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop, and Tien Pham made the call to see the {5-Clubs} land on the turn. Politano bet 8,100, and Pham called once more.

The river was the {2-Diamonds}, and Politano moved all in for 25,500. After a bit of tanking, Pham made the call, but couldn't beat the {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts} that Politano turned up for a flopped queen-high straight. Pham sent over the chips and was left with 4,200.

On the next hand, action folded to Brendon Rubie in the small blind, and he raised to 3,300. Politano was in the big blind and reraised to 8,500. Rubie folded.
