"He Just Always Has It"

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Dylan Wilkerson
Dylan Wilkerson

With around 10,000 in the pot and a board reading {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, [Removed:17] bet 7,200 and Dylan Wilkerson raised to 20,000. Yan responded by moving all in, and Wilkerson, who had about 90,000 total, hit the tank. As his buddy Brandon Shack-Harris, who just bagged and is among the final 18 in the Main Event, lingered on the rail, Wilkerson debated what to do. Eventually he dropped in a call and discovered the bad news.

Wilkerson: {q-Spades}{9-Spades}
Yan: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

It was the third time today we've seen boat over boat, and unfortunately for Wilkerson he was on the bad end of it.

"He just always has it," a dejected Wilkerson told Shack-Harris as they exited the room.

Rossiter Busts Negreanu

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Jeff Rossiter bet 8,700 on the {7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} board, and six-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu made the call.

After the {10-Clubs} completed the board on the river, Rossiter set Negreanu all in. With approximately 32,000 behinds, Negreanu made the call.

Rossiter had rivered a set of tens with the {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. Negreanu had him on the turn with the {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}, but one of the two remaining tens gave Rossiter the win. He moved to 143,000 in chips, while Negreanu was sent packing.

Argyros Puzzled

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Vanessa Rousso checked the all-spade {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, and Billy "The Croc" Argyros bet 3,700. Rousso called, and the two saw the turn come down the {2-Diamonds}. Rousso checked, and Argyros checked behind.

The river was the {4-Hearts}, and Rousso led for 5,000. Argyros called and watched Rousso tabled the {4-Spades}{2-Hearts} for two pair on the turn and river. Argyros stared at the board and her hand for a few moments with a confused look on his face, then showed the losing {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}.

Rast Bricks the World

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

After a raise by Michael Egan and a three-bet by Brian Rast to 6,100, Geoffrey Mooney called from the small blind and Egan called as well to see the flop of {8-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}. Mooney check-raised all in after the continuation bet by Rast and Egan got out of the way with Rast tossing in the chips for the call.

Rast: {9-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}
Mooney: {K-Hearts} {K-Clubs}

The over pair for Mooney had to dodge a lot of outs and did so successfully as the board completed with the {6-Spades} turn and the {9-Hearts} river.

Ace High Is Good for Leah

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Mike Leah check-called a bet of 2,100 on the {J-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop against Jonathan Karamalikis before seeing the {7-Clubs} land on the turn. Leah checked, and Karamalikis checked. Then, after the {3-Spades} completed the board on the river, both players checked again.

Leah showed the {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} to beat Karamalikis' {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.
