Arieh Gets to Showdown

Josh Arieh opened the cutoff to 1,200 before the action folded to Darko Svesko in the small blind who called.

The Q52 flop landed and the action checked to Arieh who continued for 1,100. Svesko called.

The 8 rolled off on the turn and the action checked to Arieh again who didn't slow down with a bet of 4,500. Svesko called again.

The 5 river checked through and Svesko tabled A2 before Arieh tabled the unlikely 108 for middle pair and the win.

Dargis Finds Saving Ace on the River

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Carlos Napolitano raised to 1,000 from under the gun and found two callers in both the small blind and Donatas Dargis in the big blind before seeing the flop come 568.

The blinds checked to Napolitano who continued with a bet of 3,000. The small blind quickly let his hand go but Dargis decided to put in a check-raise to 8,500. Napolitano paused briefly before putting in the call to see the 4 hit the turn.

Dargis opted to lead out this time around and settled on a bet size of 10,500. Napolitano made the call again and watched as the A fall on the river.

Action checked through to showdown with Napolitano turning over the 98 only to see Dargis table the A4 for a winning ace on the river.

Desjarlais Chips Up Against Pillon

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Steve Desjarlais raised to 1,200 and earned no fewer than four callers including James Pillon and Kartik Ved, the latter of which was in the big blind. On the K1010 flop, Ved check-folded when Desjarlais bet 2,100 and Pillon called.

The 3 turn and 2 river were checked and Desjarlais' KQ were the best hand.

Deeb Extracts Value

With two players seeing a board of AK527 and roughly 12,000 in the middle, Shaun Deeb bet 12,000 from the cutoff. Jeffrey Thompson thought for about 45 seconds before making the call from the button.

Deeb tabled AJ for the ace-high flush and Thompson's hand hit the muck.

In a pot of more than 42,000 to the Q6586 river, Gary Thompson bet 18,700 out of the small blind and left himself with a single T-100 chip behind. Weiran Pu went into the tank and ultimately called to get shown the AJ for the busted nut flush draw by Thompson, which he had beat with the 87.

One hand later, the last chip of Thompson vanished.

Arieh Makes a Sick Fold

Curtis Knight opened to 1,200 from the hijack and received a call from Herbert Gonzalez on the button before David Williams three-bet to 5,100 from the small blind. Josh Arieh then four-bet to 11,000 in the big blind, forcing a fold from Knight and Gonzalez. Williams then five-bet shoved for roughly 50,000.

Arieh quickly folded, revealing that he had QxQx. Williams showed AxAx before taking down a nice pot while Arieh lost the minimum with his dominated pocket pair.

Pendergast is the Queen of Kings

Jack Gewirz raised to 1,200 from early position only to see Alison Pendergast three-bet from the cutoff to 4,000. Gewirz made the call to see the flop come 346.

Gewirz started with a check before seeing Pendergast continue with a bet of 5,000. Gewirz made the quick call to bring out the K on the turn.

Gewirz checked the action over to Pendergast again who reached for chips and decided on a bet of 10,000. Gewirz was fast in making the call once again before watching as the 10 fell on the river.

Gewirz checked a third time and once again, Pendergast came out with a bet totaling 10,000. Gewirz immediately released his hand before Pendergast was nice enough to show the KK as she collected the pot.

Hyunseok Oh limped the small blind before Rayan Chamas raised from the big blind to 1,500. Oh called and they were off to a flop.

The K79 flop landed and the action checked to Chamas who continued for 1,300. Oh called.

The 9 quickly checked through to a 6 river.

Oh wasted little time before leading out for a bet of 2,500. Chamas sat in the tank for almost two minutes before he finally flicked in a call.

Oh gave him the nod to let him know he was good before he tabled J8 for a missed combo draw. Chamas tabled A7 for third pair and scooped.
