Rezaei Wins With a "Tight Check Back"

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Joining the action on the QJ103 turn, Erick Lindgren checked and subsequently called a bet worth 40,000 by Daniel Rezaei. Lindgren checked again the 10 river and Rezaei mulled it over for a few seconds.

"This is probably a very tight check back," he said and then checked indeed. Lindgren tabled the AQ but Rezaei had the best of it with QJ for queens and jacks.

Mizzi Wins a Pot with a Check-Raise

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Three ways to the A106 flop, Sorel Mizzi and Gainluca Cedolia checked to Chris Brewer, who bet 5,000. What followed was the check-raise to 16,500 by Mizzi and it did the trick to win the pot uncontested.
