Ricardo Caridade Eliminated in 12th Place ($24,549)

With two players seeing a board of K♣10♣3♦ and roughly 100,000 in the middle, Ricardo Caridade checked in the big blind and Jean-Noel Thorel bet 50,000 from the button. Caridade raised to 195,000, leaving only 6,000 behind, and Jean-Noel Thorel moved all in with a covering stack.

Caridade stalled for several minutes while watching the other table as there was a pay jump that he would make should a bustout occur at the other table. After stalling for a few minutes a player called the clock and shortly after Caridade called off to put himself at risk.

Caridade needed a club, three or seven to preserve his tournament life but none came on the 2♥ turn or A♥ river and he was sent to the rail without making the pay jump he was aiming for while Thorel collected the last of his chips.

Thomas Santerne opened in middle position before the action was on Renan Bruschi on the button. He put all but 1,000 of his chips in the middle and it folded back to Santerne who just called.

The Q♠7♣6♣ flop landed and it checked through to a 7♦ turn. The last 1,000 went into the middle and the cards hit their backs.
