Engledow Wakes Up With Aces in Three-Way All In

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

John Engledow raised to 60,000 in early position and Jianwei Lin moved all in for 240,000 in middle position. Gregoire Auzoux then reshoved in the small blind and Engledow also called for around 300,000.

Engledow had picked up aces and improved to a full house on the A33 flop. The rest of the board ran out 106 and Engledow scooped the pot, sending Lin to the rail and earning a double up off Auzoux.

Vallinas Applies Max Pressure on Ramos

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 872, Felipe Ramos bet 105,000 from the big blind and Jon Vallinas raised to 260,000 on the button. Ramos called and the 4 fell on the turn.

Vallinas then bet 400,000, enough to put Ramos all in. Ramos spread out his time bank cards in front of him and took a few minutes before folding as Vallinas took the pot.

Zoufri Finds an Ace to Double

Abdelhakim Zoufri raised to 50,000 on the button and Young Sik Eum three-bet to 110,000 in the small blind. Zoufri then moved all in for 470,000 and Eum snap-called.

It was a massive cooler as Zoufri ran into Eum's kings a few spots short of the money, but he found an ace on the A103 flop to take the lead. The rest of the board was Q5 and Zoufri doubled up.

Pan Doubles Through Ghionoiu in Bizarre Hand

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Christopher Pan opened the button to 40,000 before Daniel Ghionoiu jammed from the big blind for 280,000 effective as the barely covering stack. Pan went deep into the tank as he was pained by the decision, but eventually called.

Pan was ahead with ace-king but Ghionoiu had live cards. Both players paired on the K97 flop and the Q turn gave Ghionoiu additional outs. However, the 10 completed the board as Pan got the full double.

Ghionoiu left the tournament but was informed that he had 7,000 chips remaining. He declined to return to the tournament and is surrendering his stack just five spots from the money.

Madanzhiev Survives Near the Bubble

Stoyan Madanzhiev moved all in for 188,000 in the cutoff and Marc Rivera snap-called in the big blind.

Madanzhiev needed to improve to stay alive, and the QJ6 flop gave him top pair and the lead against Rivera's pair of jacks. The rest of the board ran out 105 and Madanzhiev doubled up with the money bubble fast approaching.

Lonis Plays Some Street Poker

Nazar Buhaiov bet 28,000 from under the gun on a flop of 1046 and Pedro Padilha called in the hijack. Jesse Lonis then raised to 88,000 in the big blind.

Buhaiov came back with a reraise to 185,000 and Padilha took a minute before folding. Lonis also used a few time banks until announcing a raise to 300,000. Buhaiov quickly folded.

Lonis showed QJ for queen-high as he took the pot.

Soyza Makes the Right Call to Eliminate Hsiang

Michael Soyza opened the cutoff to 32,000 before Yeu Wei Hsiang jammed for 280,000 from the small blind. After using a time bank, Soyza announced, "Good luck, bro," and put in the call.

"Wow, you guys are gamblers," added tablemate Yueqi Zhu.

The board ran out AQ8310 and Soyza's kicker played as Hsiang hit the rail less than ten spots from the money.

Aido Sends Out Alafogiannis
