Pu Starts Off Third-Best, Ends With a Triple

Level 20 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Weiran Pu moved all in for 90,000 in the cutoff, Christian Rudolph reshoved for 200,000 on the button, and Anvar Muratov put both players at risk in early position.

Rudolph was ahead with his queens as the J53 flop gave Pu a pair. The turn was the 6, but the A river improved Pu to two pair to earn him a triple up, while Muratov made top pair to crack Rudolph's queens and send him to the rail.

McEwan Gets Paid by Sotiropoulos

Georgios Sotiropoulos bet 40,000 from the cutoff on a flop of 997 and Matthew McEwan raised to 140,000 in the big blind. Sotiropoulos called and the 2 fell on the turn.

McEwan then bet 220,000 and Sotiropoulos again called. The river was the A and McEwan pushed forward 370,000, leaving behind one 5,000 chip.

Sotiropoulos quickly called and McEwan showed 109 for trip nines to win the big pot.
