Piatrushchanka Flops Full House, Gets the Maximum

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

With about 50,000 already in the middle the flop read AAJ, and Lucas Foster who was in the big blind check-called a bet of 10,000 from Andrei Piatrushchanka in the hijack.

The 9 hit the turn, and Foster check-called another bet, this time for 30,000.

When the 5 landed on the river, Foster checked and Piatrushchanka announced all in for 82,000. Foster paused for a moment while looking at his hand and made the call.

Piatrushchanka rolled JJ for jacks full of aces, and Foster quickly flashed the Ax4x before mucking his hand.

Fijacko Sets His Sights on a Pay Jump

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Filip Fijacko limped from the small blind and Pablo Silva, who had the covering stack, moved all in from the big. Fijacko had 175,000 back and hit the tank burning through three time extensions before making the call.

Filip Fijacko: KKAll in
Pablo Silva: 55

Some at the table seemed taken aback that Fijacko took so long and appeared to be slow-rolling.

"No, no, I told him I was going to use some time extension to maybe get the pay jump," Fijacko clarified.

It appears at least one pay jump is in store for Fijacko as the board ran out 94QJ7 to give him the double!

'I Made the Right Decision': Find Out Why NBA Great Tony Parker Folded Kings at WSOP Paradise

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Click here to read PokerNews' full winner recap!

Tony Parker
Tony Parker

Former NBA point guard Tony Parker made his worst pass ever when he tossed pocket kings in the muck preflop on Day 1a of the $25,000 buy-in Super Main Event at World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise.

The four-time basketball champion didn't make many poor decisions during his career on the San Antonio Spurs. He's known for having a high basketball IQ. But he made an uncharacteristic mistake in poker's largest guaranteed tournament ever that would cause his coach, Gregg Popovich, to sit him on the bench.

PokerNews caught up with Parker as he bagged up his chips on Day 1a and talked about his thought process in the hand, battling with seasoned pros and which of Parker's former Spurs teammates is the best poker player.

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Christoph Vogelsang
Christoph Vogelsang

Omar Diez was on a rollercoaster ride as he had gotten short and then doubled up immediately after just to get right back in the action as he called Christoph Vogelsang's shove of 97,000.

Christoph Vogelsang: 77 All in
Omar Diez: AJ

They were off to the races and the K949Q runout meant Vogelsang's sevens were good to survive, leaving Diez extremely short-stacked once again.
