Foxen Bluffs Into Koon's Aces

PokerNews got to the table at the river in a heads-up pot between Alex Foxen and Jason Koon.

With the board reading 25Q108, Foxen bet 290,000 as Koon mulled over a decision. "I just have a pair. OK, I have aces," he said as he called.

Foxen showed KJ for a missed straight draw as Koon tabled AA to win the big pot.

Mosbock Forces the Fold

Level 1 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

[Removed:502] opened the action with a raise to 8,000, from early position. It then folded to Sam Greenwood in the big blind, who made the call.

The flop came 976 and Greenwood check-called a bet of 14,000 from Mosbock.

After the K on the turn, Greenwood again check-called a bet from Mosbock, this time for 55,000.

The river brought the 3 and Greenwood again checked to Mosbock. After using one time bank, Mosbock fired out 225,000, which sent Greenwood into the tank. After using two time banks, Greenwood eventually mucked his hand to give the pot to Mosbock.

Deberry's Raise Gets It Done

Sirzat Hissou raised to 7,000 from under the gun with KQ, and once it folded to Chad Deberry in the cutoff, he made the call with J9.

The flop came 756 and Hissou bet out 10,000, and Deberry decided to raise to 35,000. Hissou gave it some thought before mucking his hand giving the pot to Deberry.

Hissou Flops Two Pair

Jessica Teusl raised to 7,000 from under the gun with A6, and once it folded to Sirzat Hissou in the big blind he called with KJ.

The flop came J9K and Hissou checked to Teusl who bet out 7,000, which Hissou called.

After the 2 on the turn, both players checked to the 7 on the river. Hissou then bet out 13,000, and Teusl quickly mucked to give the pot to Hissou.

Teusl Turns a Straight

Paul Phua raised from under the gun to 7,000 with QJ. He was called by Chalie Hook 55 from the cutoff, Sirzat Hissou on the button with A6, and Jessica Teusl in the small blind with J9.

The flop came 10J7 and all four players checked to the 8 on the turn. Teusl bet out 36,000 with her turned straight, which got all three players to muck, giving Teusl the pot.

Lococo Cracks Aces

Alejandro Lococo opened the action with a raise to 7,000 from early position with QQ. It then folded to Chalie Hook in the hijack, who three-bet to 22,000 with AA. Once it folded back to Lococo he made the call.

The flop came 564 and both players checked to the Q on the turn. Lococo then fired out 44,000 and Hook made the call.

After the 10 on the river, Lococo bet out 128,000 which was snap-called by Hook. Once Lococo tabled his set of queens, Hook showed his pocket aces as he tossed them in the muck, giving Lococo the sizable pot.

Haxton Bets Out Addamo

Michael Addamo opened to 7,000 in the hijack and Isaac Haxton called in the cutoff.

Addamo checked on the flop of K32 and Haxton bet 7,000. Addamo called. Addamo checked again on the 6 turn and Haxton sized up to 36,000. Addamo glanced at his cards and laid it down.

Eibinger Makes a Boat and Takes From Petrangelo

Level 1 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Action was picked up on the flop with three players in the hand, 24,000 in the pot, and the board showing 51010.

Matthias Eibinger in the small blind Q10 checked, as did Phil Ivey in the big blind with 52, before Nick Petrangelo with KQ from under the gun bet out 8,000. Eibinger called, and Ivey mucked to leave the players heads up.

The turn brought the 9 and after Eibinger checked, Petrangelo bet out 32,000. Eibinger decided to raise over the top to 112,000, and Petrangelo elected to call with his gutshot straight flush draw.

After the 9 on the river, Eibinger bet out 342,000 which got a quick fold from Petrangelo to give Eibinger the pot.

Negreanu Bluffs and Mucks

In a heads-up pot on a board of 4J9A, Daniel Negreanu bet around 80,000 from the big blind and Juan Pardo called on the button.

The 6 river completed the board and Negreanu bet 155,000 as Pardo quickly called. Negreanu slid his cards to the muck and Pardo took down the pot without showdown.

Ivey Turns a Flush

Danny Tang raised to 7,000 from early position with KQ, which was called by Phil Ivey on the button with K2 and Seth Davies in the big blind with 63.

After the flop came AJQ Davies and Tang both checked to Ivey, who bet out 13,000. Davies quickly folded and Tang made the call.

The turn brought the 8 to give Ivey the flush. Once Tang checked to Ivey, he bet out 40,000 and Tang mucked his hand to give Ivey the pot.
