Belarmino De Souza limped in from the cutoff and Joni Jouhkimainen then raised to 180,000 on the button. Seth Davies called in the big blind, but De Souza then reraised to 740,000. Jouhkimainen got out of the way, but Davies called to see the Q♦6♠4♦ flop.
De Souza then moved all in and Davies, with around 500,000 remaining, quickly folded.
Start-of-day chip leader Jason Mercier joined the table after the hand was finished.
