Who Runs Better Than Nacho?

Level 14
Nacho Barbero
Nacho Barbero

No-Limit Hold'em

The action folded to Aaron Kupin in the small blind who jammed for 88,000 and Nacho Barbero snapped it off in the big blind.

Aaron Kupin: K6 All in
Nacho Barbero: AK

Barbero was in great shape to score the knockout as the dealer emphatically peeled the QJ10 flop to give Barbero a Royal Flush. The 410 runout was just a formality as Kupin hit the rail in ridiculous fashion.

After complaining about his luck for much of the past hour, Barbero's tablemates were quick to emphasize how lucky he just got. It was Barbero's first career flopped Royal Flush according to the man of the hour.

No-Limit Hold'em

After doubling Nacho Barbero, Ari Engel opened to 22,000 in the hijack and Nacho Barbero three-bet to 70,000 in the big blind. Engel called.

Barbero sized down to 17,000 on the flop of Q10A and Engel called. Barbero then bet 50,000 on the 3 turn and Engel again called.

Barbero checked on the 10 river and Engel took some time before betting 160,000. Barbero groaned and folded what was likely kings.

"I run so f***ing bad," said Barbero, who has won two super high roller events this year. "Nice hand, good suckout."

Ari Engel

Nacho Barbero opened to 22,000 from the hijack before Ari Engel jammed for 231,000 from the cutoff. Barbero went deep into the tank for over a minute before he slid a stack forward to call.

Ari Engel: 77 All in
Nacho Barbero: AJ

It was a coinflip scenario and the 852 flop gave Barbero more outs.

"Never easy...always a sweat," commented Barbero.

The board ran out K6 which was safe for Engel as he got the full double at the expense of Barbero.

Stud Hi-Lo

Mike Gorodinsky completed, Josh Arieh two-bet, Nacho Barbero cold-called as the bring-in, and Gorodinsky called.
