Pot-Limit Omaha

Phil Hellmuth opened to 16,000 in the hijack and Josh Arieh and Aaron Kupin both called in the blinds.

Arieh led out for 22,000 on the flop of 54J and both opponents called. The 7 turn then checked through and all three players checked again on the Q river.

Arieh showed a king-high flush with K1042 to pip the QJ98 of Hellmuth, who kept his composure after losing the minimum. "I thought I had the nuts," Hellmuth said.

Badugi

Jared Bleznick raised from the hijack and was called by Jason Mercier in the cutoff and Nacho Barbero on the button.

Bleznick stood pat, Mercier took one, and Barbero took two. Bleznick bet and both opponents called.

On the second draw all players did the same. Bleznick led again, Mercier raised, and Barbero folded. After some deliberation, Bleznick tossed out a three-bet and Mercier opted to let it go.

Bleznick showed a nine-eight badugi to the table.

"That's an insane three-bet," Mercier elaborated. "You're just lighting chips on fire."

Seiver Goes Runner-Runner to Crack Negreanu's Aces

Level 9
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Pot-Limit Omaha

Daniel Negreanu was all in for around 200,000 against Scott Seiver in a heads-up hand of Pot-Limit Omaha and he brought the selfie stick out.

Daniel Negreanu: AA93 All in
Scott Seiver: AA84

Both players had aces but it looked like Negreanu could freeroll his way to victory as the flop of 2Q7 gave him a flush draw while giving Seiver a whole lot of nothing.

However, the board proceeded to run out 48 and Negreanu gasped in disbelief as he saw Seiver had made runner-runner two pair to mark his elimination. Negreanu rushed to tell Eric Wasserson what had happened and quickly bought back into the event.

Team Lucky on Team Lucky Violence

Level 9
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Shaun Deeb opened the cutoff and fellow Team Lucky member Josh Arieh defended his big blind.

Both players took one and Arieh checked to Deeb who cut out a bet of 28,000. Arieh was in clear bluff-catching scenario after catching a bad card but ultimately decided to lay it down.

Deeb flinged his cards in the direction of Arieh who revealed Jx6x6x4x2x for a pair as Deeb's bluff got through.

"Did you really think I could beat you in a flip?" joked Deeb.
