Ezequiel Kleinman Eliminated in 9th Place ($36,590)

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Ezequiel Kleinman
Ezequiel Kleinman

Action folded to Ezequiel Kleinman in the hijack, and he raised to 160,000. It then folded to Blaz Zerjav who defended his big blind.

After the 5210 flop, Zerjav check-called a bet of 330,000 from Kleinman.

After the Q on the turn, Zerjav checked to Kleinman again, who this time bet out 550,000. Zerjav decided to check-raise Kleinman all in for his stack of roughly 1,700,000, which Kleinman quickly called.

Ezequiel Kleinman: K10 All in
Blaz Zerjav: 22

Zerjav flopped a set against the flopped top pair, and turned flush draw of Kleinman. The river brought the K to give Kleinman two pair, but it was not enough to beat the set of deuces from Zerjev, giving him the pot, and making Kleinman the first departure from the final table.

Health > Wealth: Texas Mike Questions Stamina After “4-Bet Jam Nuclear Punt” in $100K

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

What is a player to do when they love tournament poker, their mind allows them to compete against the best of the best, but their body doesn’t want to cooperate? That’s a question “Texas” Mike Moncek, who suffers from a heart condition, asked himself Wednesday night after playing in the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise Event #7: $100,000 Triton Main Event.

The tournament, which is being live reported by PokerNews, attracted 182 entrants and offered up an $18,200,000 prize pool. On Day 2, a little over 40 players remained when Texas Mike, in his own words, “punted.”

Zerjav Jams on Volkmann

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Action folded to Blaz Zerjav on the button, and he raised to 200,000. After the small blind folded, the big blind Bruno Volkmann made the call.

The flop came 6Q2 and Volkamann checked to Zerjav who bet out 125,000. Volkmann decided to raise that bet to 275,000, which Zerjav called.

After the K on the turn, both players checked to the 8 on the river. Volkmann checked to Zerjav again, who this time bet enough to put Volkman all in for his stack of 800,000. After using a time extension, Volkmann mucked his hand to give the pot to Zerjev.

With the big blind about to hit him in the next hand, the short-stacked Archibald Seaton raised to 200,000 under the gun and action folded around to Lei Yu, who three-bet to 500,000 from the small blind. Seaton announced all in for roughly 50,000 more and Yu quickly called.

Action folded to Blaz Zerjav who raised to 200,000 from the hijack. It then folded to Bruno Volkmann on the button, who three-bet all in for 495,000. Once the blinds folded, Zerjav made the call to put Volkmann at risk.

Bruno Volkmann: K10 All in
Blaz Zerjav: Q8

It was a fair fight, with Volkmann ahead with his king high. When the board ran out 910K93 Volkmann secured the double up with his two pair, kings and tens.

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Gleb Tremzin

Blaz Zerjav raised to 200,000 under the gun and action folded to Gleb Tremzin, who defended the big blind to see a flop of 7Q5.

Tremzin checked and Zerjav continued for 100,000. The former then woke up with a check-raise to 275,000 and the latter thought for a bit before dropping in a call.

After the dealer burned and turned the 5, Tremzin moved all in for his last 380,000 or so and Zerjav snap-called.

Gleb Tremzin: Q10 All in
Blaz Zerjav: 55

Tremzin had flopped top pair but discovered the bad news that he was drawing dead to Zerjav's quads. The meaningless 2 was run out on the river and Tremzin bowed out in seventh place.
