Dimitar Danchev raised to 60,000 under the gun and Seth Davies flatted in the small blind.
The dealer put out a monotone flop of 7♥9♥8♥ and Davies check-called a bet of 45,000.
The turn landed the A♥ and action went check-check, bringing the 6♥ river.
With a flush on the board, both players checked. Davies turned over K♠10♠, while Danchev tabled Q♣9♣, resulting in a split pot.
Patrik Antonius moved all in for 155,000 in the small blind and Wai Kin Yong called in the big blind.

Neither player connected with the 4♠8♥A♥A♦10♠ board and Yong took the pot with his king-kicker to send the Poker Hall of Famer to the rail.
Action folded to Alexander Zubov who limped in from the small blind. Michael Moncek then raised to 120,000 in the big blind and Zubov came back with a reraise to 350,000. Moncek quickly slid forward his entire stack and Zubov snap-called for 1,405,000 to create the biggest pot of the tournament so far.

Moncek had been caught making a big move as he had most of his chips at risk against Zubov's queens. The 9♦7♠2♣J♠7♥ board provided Moncek no help as Zubov earned the massive double up, leaving Moncek with just one big blind.
Moncek was all in the next hand with Q♦9♣ and up against Stephen Song's 8♥8♣. Moncek hit two pair on a board of Q♣9♠7♣5♣, but Song spiked the 8♠ on the river to make a set and send Moncek to the rail.
Heads up on a flop of J♠5♥4♥, Dominykas Mikolaitis bet 40,000 from the button and Mario Mosboeck raised to 125,000 in the big blind. Mikolaitis called and the 9♥ fell on the turn.
Mosboeck slowed down and checked, and Mikolaitis then moved all in. Mosboeck snap-called for his last 295,000 with K♥Q♥ for a flush, and Mikolaitis was already drawing dead holding K♠J♦.
The river was the 8♥ and Mosboeck doubled up.
Adrian Mateos moved all in for 115,000 in middle position and Tom Fuchs called on the button. Seth Davies then reraised to 360,000 in the small blind and Fuchs got out of the way.

The 8♦2♣2♦ flop opened the possibility of a chop, but Davies hit two pair on the Q♦ turn to leave Mateos drawing dead. The river was the 3♦ and Mateos was eliminated.
In a limped pot between the blinds, Michael Addamo bet 25,000 on a flop of A♥Q♣8♣ and Mikita Badziakouski raised to 75,000. Addamo called and the A♠ fell on the turn.
Badziakouski slowed down and checked as Addamo bet another 75,000. Badziakouski just called this time and the 4♣ fell on the river.
Badziakouski checked again and Addamo bet 300,000. Badziakouski called and Addamo showed 9♣5♣ for a flush, but Badziakouski had J♣7♣ for a better flush to win the big pot.

Jason Koon raised to 55,000 in early position and [Removed:607] called in the big blind.
Both players checked the 8♠7♥6♦ flop. [Removed:608] then led out for 60,000 on the 4♦ turn and Koon called.
The 5♣ river put a straight on board as [Removed:608] fired out 315,000. Koon, leaning over the table with his hand resting atop his cap, burned a time bank before emerging with a raise to 900,000.
[Removed:608] quickly called with 9♣3♣ for a nine-high straight, while Koon was only playing the board holding K♦8♦ as he handed over the big pot.
The 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise, which is taking place on Paradise Island in The Bahamas, got off to a big start with the $500,000 buy-in Triton Million, which marked the WSOP's first partnership with Triton Poker.
It was a unique tournament that paired an invitee with a poker pro – each putting up a $500,000 buy-in – and then competing in respective fields on Day 1 before combining on Day 2. The tournament, which was being live reported by PokerNews, featured 74 players (37 pairs) and much to our surprise saw two players get their chips all in on the very first hand of the tournament.

Leonard Maue raised to 50,000 under the gun before Jeremy Ausmus three-bet to 150,000 in the small blind. Maue used a time bank and eventually moved all in for 245,000 as Ausmus called to put him at risk.
