Dan then led out for 400,000 and Kaufmann called. The river was the K♦ and Dan used a few time banks until eventually checking. Kaufmann also took a minute before checking back.
Dan turned over 8♣8♠, but Kaufmann had J♥9♦ for trips to win the pot.
