Level 7 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

Erik Seidel raised to 27,000 in middle position and Waikiat Lee reraised to 100,000 out of the small blind. Seidel called and the dealer fanned the flop of J87. Lee continued with a bet of 40,000 and Seidel just called.

The turn was the Q and Lee fired out another bet of 130,000. Seidel still called and the K completed the board. Lee dropped in a bet of 325,000 and Seidel quickly looked him up. Lee turned over KK for top set while Seidel held JJ for an inferior set of jacks.

Seidel was left with just 14,000 chips after the hand but was seen leaving the table moments later.

Thorel Sends Mercier and Collopy Into the Light

Level 6 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Jean-Noel Thorel
Jean-Noel Thorel

Jason Mercier was one of the short stacks at his table and ripped all in for his last 159,000 from the cutoff. Jim Collopy shoved all in for 412,000 on the button, and Jean-Noel Thorel asked for a count of both stacks. Thorel then moved all in for 605,000, and Justin Bonomo quickly got out of the way in the big blind.

Jason Mercier: 55All in
Jim Collopy: AKAll in
Jean-Noel Thorel: AJ

Mercier was the favorite as the only player with a pair but had plenty of cards to fade. The Q42 flop was so far so good, and the 7 on the turn left it that way. However, the J on the river gave Thorel the only winning option and eliminated both of his opponents.

"Yes!" he exclaimed, banging the table with both of his fists. He looked to Bonomo and shrugged as they laughed.

Lococo Spikes the River to Bust Glazer

Level 5 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Alejandro Lococo
Alejandro Lococo

Alejandro Lococo opened from middle position and was called by Jianwei Lin in the cutoff and Jordan Glazer in the big blind.

On the 1094 flop, the action checked to Lin who bet 20,000. Glazer responded with a check-raise to 125,000. Lococo inquired about Glazer's stack size before he slid a stack of green T-100,000 chips forward to put both players at risk. Lin swiftly folded while Glazer snap-called off for around 300,000 effective.

Jordan Glazer: 104 All in
Alejandro Lococo: J9

Glazer was ahead with two pair but Lococo had middle pair and a flush draw. The 6 turn was safe for Glazer but the J river gave Lococo a better two pair as Glazer hit the rail.

Keating Gets Dealt a Real Hand

Level 5 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Alan Keating
Alan Keating

Alan Keating has been up to his old tricks by putting pressure on his opponents, often putting all of his chips in the middle preflop. This time, Espen Myrmo found out the hard way when Keating actually woke up with a hand, as all of the chips went into the middle preflop.

Espen Myrmo: 1010All in
Alan Keating: QQ

Keating had the best of it this time with the better of the two pocket pairs and the AJ7K2 board ran out clean to eliminate Myrmo.

"All in, all in, all in and then pocket queens," Nacho Barbero piped up. "I've seen that before."

"Ya, but usually they're a bit older," Jesse Lonis chimed in, which got a laugh from Keating.
