Stakelis Hero-Calls the River Correctly

The action was picked up on the turn in a hand between Audrius Stakelis from the big blind and Pedro Cavalieri on the button with 320,000 already in the middle.

Greenwood Forces Thorel to Fold the River

Three players saw the 6657 turn, creating a pot of over 80,000 and Jean-Noel Thorel check-called a bet of 30,000 in the big blind from Sam Greenwood on his left while Ben Tollerene folded on the button.

The K completed the board on the river and Thorel checked once more. Greenwood sized up to 110,000, putting Thorel in a short tank before surrendering the pot.

Eldridge Hero-Calls Saout to Double

Action folded to David Eldridge who raised to 38,000 in the small blind. Antoine Saout called in the big blind and they went heads-up to the JQ2 flop.

Eldridge continued for 40,000 and Saout called. Eldridge checked the 6 turn, Saout bet 50,000, and Eldridge called.

The river was the Q and Saout bet 400,000, enough to put Eldridge all in. Eldridge tanked for a few minutes and eventually called for his last 208,000.

Saout showed K9 for a missed straight draw, while Eldridge had AK and took the pot with ace-high to double up.

Juan Baraza opened 25,000 in middle position and only Daniel Ghionoiu came along from the small blind.

The dealer spread a flop of 1064, and Ghionoiu checked and snap-called a bet of 18,000 from Baraza.

The 4 turn was checked through and as soon as the Q hit the river, Ghionoiu shot 29,000 across the line. Baraza thought for about 20 seconds before deciding to surrender the pot.

Yanovsky Finds a Call in Massive Pot Against La [Removed:534]

The flop came 1073 and La [Removed:534] bet 150,000. Yanovsky called and the 4 fell on the turn.

La [Removed:534] then bet 250,000 and Yanovsky again called. The river was the 6 and La [Removed:534] bet 594,000, leaving himself just one 1,000 chip behind.

Yanovsky went deep into the tank, taking nearly 10 minutes to make a decision. Several players at neighboring tables began to turn around and follow the action as Yanovsky continued to ponder the decision.

Dylan Weisman eventually called the clock and Yanovsky didn't even wait for the countdown to begin before slamming in the chips. La [Removed:534] showed AK for ace-high, while Yanovsky turned over JJ as he took down the massive pot to climb past 3,000,000.
