Boianovsky Puts in a Big Shove Against Danchev

Level 8 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Three players saw a flop of A510 where Felipe Boianovsky bet 40,000 from the hijack. Dimitar Danchev called in the small blind, as did big blind Jorge Artiga-Pacheco.

The turn was the 9 and Boianovsky bet 180,000. Only Danchev called this time and the 6 fell on the river. Boianovsky then moved all in.

Danchev had around 600,000 remaining and turned around to take a few sips from his drink as he considered the decision for several minutes. He eventually decided to fold and Boianovsky took the pot without a showdown.

Botez Ends Afriat's Day

Level 8 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Eric Afriat
Eric Afriat

After losing a big pot, Eric Afriat was all-in for his last 4,000 from the small blind.

Jovan Kenjic opened the hijack to 32,000 and Alexandra Botez called in the big blind.

On the KQ4 flop, Botez check-called a 20,000 bet from Kenjic as Afriat stood up from his chair and paced around.

The A turn checked through to the 9 river which saw Botez lead for 100,000 and Kenjic reluctantly folded.

Eric Afriat: KJ All in
Alexandra Botez: Q9

Afriat was ahead until the river but Botez made two pair as the chess star sent the fashion designer to the rail.

Rasskazov Wins the Flip

Level 8 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Pavel Rasskazov
Pavel Rasskazov

Pavel Rasskazov jammed 162,000 under the gun and the action folded around to Casey Yontz in the big blind who made the call after asking for a count.

Pavel Rasskazov: 99 All in
Casey Yontz: KQ

It was a classic race as the dealer fanned the A66 flop, missing both players. The 10 turn gave Yontz some extra outs with a gutshot straight draw but the A river was safe for Rasskazov as he pulled in the double.

Foggin Holds On to Kings

Level 8 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Sergiu Sirghi raised to 35,000 in the hijack and Marc Foggin called in the cutoff. David Eldridge then three-bet to 110,000 on the button and only Foggin called.

Eldridge continued for 80,000 on the AJ2 flop and Foggin called. The turn was the J and Eldridge bet 170,000.

Foggin took a few minutes before calling as the A fell on the river. Foggin checked over to Eldridge for a third time, and Eldridge checked back. Foggin turned over KK and Eldridge mucked.

Funaro Asks for It All

Level 8 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Frank Funaro
Frank Funaro

Frank Funaro raised to 35,000 from the hijack and Orpen Kisacikoglu called from the big blind. The dealer fanned the flop of Q43 and Kisacikoglu check-called a bet of 55,000 from Funaro.

The turn was the 10 and Kisacikoglu checked again. Funaro ramped it up with an overbet of 300,000 which Kisacikoglu still called.

The river was the 10 and Kisacikoglu checked for the third time. Funaro splashed some chips in the pot while announcing all in as the bigger stack. Kisacikoglu sunk in his chair with a stack of around 1,300,000 in front of him. Funaro covered his face while Kisacikoglu gave it some thought before eventually folding.

Salter Fades Adams

Level 8 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

With the 877 flop on the felt and 155,000 in the middle, Brandon Adams and Jack Salter got all of the chips across the line and Adams was at risk for roughly 650,000.

Brandon Adams: A10 All in
Jack Salter: QQ

Salter was ahead with his overpair and managed to avoid the flush and overcard of Adams as the board completed with the 8 on the turn and the K on the river.

Dimitar Danchev
Dimitar Danchev

Dimitar Danchev opened in the hijack and called an all-in jam for 345,000 from Jorge Pacheco on the button.

Jorge Pacheco: A10 All in
Dimitar Danchev: AJ

Pacheco ran into a bigger ace and the J52 flop left him drawing thin. The 4 turn and Q river were no help as he wished the table good luck and exited the tournament.
