They say aces are a hand best played against a single opponent. Kevin Bass found that out the hard way at World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise as he had a chance to quadruple up with pocket rockets before an unfortunate river card sent him packing deep in the $2,500 WSOP Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty.

The cooler took place in the sunny Bahamas on Day 2 with just five tables remaining. The four-day event, which currently has 19 players left, will reach a winner on Wednesday.

$250,000 Triton Invitational Inching Toward Money Bubble

The $250,000 Triton Invitational is down to 43 players as the money bubble approaches in the biggest buy-in of the series. A total of 23 spots will be paid with a minimum cash worth $389,000 and $7,725,000 up top for the winner.

Those in contention include Sergio Aido, Jean-Noel Thorel, Nick Schulman, Charles Hook, Stephen Chidwick and Daniel Negreanu.

WSOP Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty Will Finish Today

Event #1: $2,500 WSOP Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty will wrap up today on Day 3 after initially being scheduled as a four-day event.

Action is moving quickly and they are already down the final table of nine. Still leading is Germany's Christopher Nguyen ahead of big stacks Tomas Jozonis and Michael Nugent, the only players with more than 50 big blinds.
