All Quiet on Table 5

Level 1 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On the pro-heavy Table 5, Christopher Nguyen opened to 2,500 from the cutoff, and Jonathan Little defended his big blind. The 632 flop checked through to the 2 turn, where Little check-called a bet of 2,000. Little then folded on the 5 river after Nguyen fired out another 10,000.

On the next deal, Nguyen raised to 2,500 again before Ihor Popyk made it 10,000 from the button. Nguyen four-bet to 32,000 and folded out Popyk.

A third open came from Nguyen in the following hand, with Little calling from the button. Ben Tollerene reraised to 15,500, forcing out Nguyen. Little stuck around.

Little called for 18,000 on the Q86 flop before the J turn checked through to the 9 river. Tollerene used a time bank and decided to check. Little mulled over his options briefly before opting to check behind.

Tollerene tabled KQ for a pair of queens, but Little's 98 was good for two pair, nines and eights, to claim the pot.

The players appear locked in at the table, with not one word exchanged throughout the three hands.
