Kabrhel Tries to Force a Table Change
Martin Kabrhel just finished third in Event #8: $125,000 Triton NLH 7-Handed for $1,367,000 and used $100,000 to play the Main Event. He had a good start, growing his 250,000 stack to 359,000 fairly swiftly. However, he wasn’t the biggest fan of his table and asked the floor for a table change. After being told he’d have to wait until tomorrow, he took matters into his own hands.
Matthew Wakeman opened to 12,000 from the button and, after some more chat, Kabrhel ripped in his stack. Ihor Popyk mulled it over in the big blind but decided to fold. Wakeman snap-called as the bigger stack.
Martin Kabrhel: K♦9♣
Matthew Wakeman: A♣K♣
Kabrhel failed to improve on the 10♦10♣2♦5♠A♦ runout and Wakeman soared to 820,000.
"Too tough table, can't play here," said Kabrhel. He quickly reentered, only to be sent straight back to the same table, just in a different seat.
