Paul Testud started today with about five big blinds, somehow he's still in. He's doubled again, this time with

holding on a

90 Minutes to Enjoy the Restaurant at the ACF or stroll out into the Paris night in search of sustenance. We return thereafter.
A weird preflop pot saw under the gun Thomas Nielsen re-raising after Fabrice Tuil had made it 7,300 (picking up Eric Sadoun on the button somehow too). He made it 22k with 40k behind, and Tuil began to consider. He asked Nielsen something (which I didn't catch but was probably Standard Poker Question A or B, about what his holding was or whether he wanted a call) and Nielsen replied, "What do you want me to say? I'll say whatever makes you happy."
What he actually said, about 30 seconds later, was, "Time!" which probably didn't make Tuil that happy.
The dealer nodded but presumably was counting the minute himself; Nielsen thought he hadn't been understood and after ten seconds more said, "Time?" again.
"Time time oui oui," snapped back Tuil.
"I just want you to make a decision," said Nielsen. The decision for both remaining players was Fold - although Sadoun (bet you've forgotten about him) showed his
as he mucked.
Alexander Roumeliotis opened to 3,000 and got one caller before Arnaud Mattern squeezed from the small blind, making it 14,500 to play. Roumeliotis mucked his hand disgustedly and the late position caller also folded. A nice little 9,000 added to the Frenchman's stack without even seeing a flop
Jimmy Ostensson has just added even more to his stack when he held
on a Ten-high board against Chuc Hoang's
which made second pair. The Swede is over the 300,000 mark as a result.
Guillaume Zarbo, for example, hasn't had it all his way this level, doubling up shorter stacked Stephane Cohen despite having
vs. Cohen's
all in preflop - he made a straight on the river. But the top guys maintain their placing at the head of the field more or less as we approach the level 10 dinner break.

Samlane Phomveha got his last chips in with
against Antony Lellouche's
but couldn't win out on a
board. Lellouche continues to build up his stack to around the 80,000 mark.
