Having Fun-daro

Giacomo Fundaro doubles
Giacomo Fundaro doubles

There was an open to 4,000, Basil Yaiche called, Andrew Lichtenberger called, and Giacomo Fundaro three-bet to 22,000 near the button. The original raiser released, and Yaiche tanked before moving all in for 151,000. Lichtenberger quickly folded, and Fundaro quickly called.

Showdown
Yaiche: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Fundaro: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

The board ran out {q-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}, and Fundaro doubled to over 200,000 chips.

Yaiche is left with just 45,000 chips.

Double KO...OMG

When we reached the table, the board read {5-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Sean Jazayeri bet 8,000, Pasi Heinanen moved all in for what looked like 40,000, and Fabrice Touil moved all in for less. Jazayeri snapped it off, and for good reason - he flopped the nuts.

Jazayeri{q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Heinanen{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Touil{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

The turn was the {8-Spades}, keeping Touil alive for the moment, but the {6-Hearts} bricked on the river. Jazayeri scored the double knockout, and is now above 300,000 chips.

Climbing the Charts

Andrew "luckychewy" Lichtenberger has over 300,000 chips. We're not sure how, but he's definitely on the up-and-up.

Not Daya's Day

Raphaël Abitbol opened in late position, Adam Daya three-bet jammed for around 40,000 from the blinds, and Abitbol tank-called.

Abitbol{a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Daya{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Abitbol held as the board ran out {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}, eliminating Daya from the tournament.

Queens < Aces

Dan Djorno opened to 3,200 from under the gun, Ville Mattila three-bet to 7,200 in middle position, and Czeslaw Czajkowski four-bet jammed for 31,000 on his direct left. The action folded back to Djorno, who quickly folded, and Mattila snapped it off.

Mattila{a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Czajkowski{q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Spades}, and Czajkowski was eliminated.
