Big House Paid For

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

A fantastic start for one of the women in the field as she faced a bet of 3,000 on the turn of a board reading {j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and raised to 6,000. Her opponent made the call and when a {4-Clubs} came on the river he check-called a bet of 10,000 leaving just 3,000 behind.

He showed {j-Hearts}{10-Spades} but was crushed by her {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} full house.

Cards In the Air

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Just after play began there were 78 entrants on the board, very close to the 80 for Day 1a. No sign of any re-entries yet, most likely they will wait for tomorrow.

The plan for today, as for each day 1, will be to play 10 levels of 45 minutes each. After the first three levels there will be a 45 minute break, then three more levels and a 15 minute break. A further two levels will be followed by a final 15 minute break before the last two level. Play will conclude around 5 a.m.
