No More Europe-Bet Qualifiers

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Andrew Hulme has been sent to the rail and he was joined by Revaz Gujabidze. The Europe-Bet online qualifier of Georgia was quite short-stacked and lost the remainder of the stack also. On the same table, Peter Boros doubled up through Seth Berger after three-betting preflop with pocket aces to 9,000.

Berger called to see the {K-} {2-} {3-} flop and after a bet of Boros, Berger put him all in with {K-Spades} {2-Spades} for two pair. The turn gave a three and that counterfitted the hand of Berger.

That was the Wrong Deuce

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Pierre Mothes
Pierre Mothes

After a preflop raise and three other players calling a bet of 8,900 on the {4-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} flop, Tom Hall moved all in for 65,000 on the {10-Diamonds} turn. Pierre Mothes had less chips and made the call with {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds}. "Come on, one time. Give me the {2-Hearts}," the German demanded to the dealer.

His wish was not quite granted, as a deuce came but it was the {2-Clubs} that improved the Brit to a flush.

Mizzi Doubles up for the Third Time

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Sorel Mizzi was all in and at risk for 36,500 with {10-Spades} {10-Diamonds} against the {A-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} of Maxim Panyak and the board ran out {3-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} to give Mizzi his third double up and the second in a row through Panyak. Three other players were less fortunate and you can find them in the bustout list below.

Different Directions

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Nikolay Tsanev won a middle-sized pot with {A-Spades} {K-Diamonds} against the {10-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} of Michel Leigborin after the Frenchman had spiked middle pair and the Bulgarian top pair. Both players take different directions with their stack size and the same also applies for Andrew Hulme and Zo Karim on their respective table.

Five in a Row

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The tournament speed carries on at hyperactive pace and the field has been reduced to 75 players. Among those to join the rail was Vladimir Schwarz, who three-bet shoved with pocket deuces and was called by an opponent with {A-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}. The board ran out {3-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {A-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} to deliver both over cards for the bigger stack.

Marvin Rettenmaier won't win another WPT title for now either, as he also ran out of chips.
