Recent Eliminations

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Simon Deadman and Eli Heath have both just been knocked out by Tamer Kamel. Deadman had {8-}{8-}, Heath {A-}{Q-} but Kamel's {K-}{K-} was ahead both preflop and, more importantly, after the river. Kamel is back up over 300,000.

Chris Sly and Arjun Ruparel have also been eliminated.

McClean Sweep

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

A double-up for Leo McClean, all in with {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} against Chris Brammer's {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}. McClean's queen kicker held on after a board of {K-Hearts}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades} and he moved into six figures.

Mateos Pushes Deadman Out

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Adrian Mateos opened preflop from late position and Simon Deadman defended in big blind. The flop was {Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and Deadman check-called a 5,500 from the Spaniard.

Both players checked the {10-Diamonds} turn and when Deadman checked the {8-Hearts} river, Mateos bet 16,000.

Deadman thought aloud, "Looks like you might hit the ten...the ten is good by the way..."

He then opted to fold.

Slusarek Up, Price and Spinks Out

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Oliver Price is out, he pushed with pocket threes but ran into Ben Vinson's pocket sevens.

Elsewhere, Patryk Slusarek has doubled up after he reraised all in from the big blind with {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} against Jake Cody's button raise. Cody called with {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and the board came {Q-}{2-}{J-}{4-}{5-}.

Jon Spinks is out after four-betting all in with {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} and Norbert Berent calling him with {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}. The {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts} board couldn't save Spinks on his topsy-turvy day.

Mizrachi Doubles His Microstack

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Michael Mizrachi was all in for his last 13,100 preflop and Patryk Slusarek gave him a spin.

Mizrachi: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}
Slusarek: {K-Spades}{J-Spades}

The board came {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and Mizrachi moved back over 10 big blinds.

Spinks Flipping for Fun

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Jon Spinks
Jon Spinks

Jon Spinks had already doubled up Otto Richard once, losing with king-ten to a pair of sixes before he had the Frenchman all in again.

Spinks: {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Richard: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

The board came {9-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Richard doubled up a second time. This left Spinks with just 25,000 and he shoved over the top of a Simon Deadman button raise. Eli Heath then reraised all in from the big blind and Deadman folded.

Spinks: {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Heath: {A-Spades}{6-Spades}

The board came {3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Spinks did the patented "Time to get out of my chair" move. This had the appropriate effect and the {J-Diamonds} immediately came on the river as he survived to leave Heath the short stack.

Game Over for Geilich

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Arriving just as the river was being dealt, Ludovic Geilich was all in with {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} against Vasile Cosmin Stancu's {10-Spades}{3-Spades} with the board reading {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts} and we were unsure if the money had gone in on the flop or turn. The {4-Spades} hit the river and Stancu leapt out of his seat. Stancu had Geilich covered and won a large pot to increase his stack to 170,000.

Kyprianou and the 300 Club

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Christos Kyprianou is the big chip leader at this moment, he bet 115,000 on the river of a {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}{K-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a huge pot against Jamie Roberts - the latter folding a flush apparently.

Kyprianou has about 500,000 at this point, other big stacks are David Peters (382,000), Sergi Reixach (375,000), Ben Warrington (370,000), Jake Cody (340,000) and Antoine Saout (325,000).
